–>This organization is a student affiliation of the professional PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) and is sponsored by the Minnesota chapter of PRSA.
Students are encouraged to join as early in their academic career as possible in order to maximize their experiences.
PRSSA members attend national conferences in the fall, participate in Pro-Am Day where they are matched with a PRSA member for a day, listen to speakers and professionals from the field, tour various types of PR offices, enjoy many social activities, participate in the annual Bateman Case Competition and have the option of competing in the Minnesota PRSA Annual Classic Awards.
Membership in PRSSA allows graduates to join PRSA right after college as associate members.
Leadership skills and terrific networking opportunities are available, as well as participating in a number of promotional and service projects that look great on a resume.
